It’s Time to Celebrate NATIONAL RED RIBBON WEEK!Monday October 28-Wednesday October 30, 2019
We will be celebrating National Red Ribbon Week next week. Our goal is to educate students and promote a positive lifestyle. We do this by creating an awareness of our stand on drugs and making safe and healthy choices. Throughout the month, we have continued to provide the students with classroom lessons that focus on GRIT, perseverance, positive self-talk and good decision-making skills. The students will receive pencils and bookmarks to show their commitment to being kind and making good choices.
There will be a theme each day of the week:
Monday, October 28: GRIT IS IT! Wear your favorite USC GRIT gear or colors to show the Eisenhower community that you're the KIND of kid who is committed to making good choices and persevering even when things get hard!
Tuesday, October 29: DREAM BIG! Be the kind of kid who makes good choices. Wear your PJ's to show that you won't let drugs derail your dream! (No slippers or animals please.)
Wednesday, October 30: Say BOO to drugs! Harvest Parade and Party: Be sure to bring your costume for the afternoon activities as we celebrate the season with our school community.
All daily themes during National Red Ribbon Week are optional. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.Thank you for all of your support of these efforts!
