    Welcome back to Baker Elementary and Mrs. Dillie's third grade classroom. Every September children and parents alike face the uncertainty of meeting and working with a new teacher. Children wonder-"Is she tough? Does she give a lot of homework? Will I like her?"......Parents wonder-"Will she challenge my child? Will she be sensitive to my child's individual needs? Can she create an environment where my child will WANT to learn?" Over the next several months, I will do all that I can to ensure the answers are all positive. I think my one trait that will shine through most often during this upcoming year is my love of teaching.
     
    I truly enjoy working with children, watching them grow, and learn during the year. I enjoy seeing them accomplish things that they thought were impossible. I simply love to teach!
     
    I encourage and enjoy as much parental involvement as possible. This is your school and your classroom. You are welcome to visit and participate as much as you can. Parent volunteers are always appreciated. I look forward to meeting all of my new friends.
