SWEP III ~ Investigative Enrichment
(For All Students)
"He who has imagination without
learning has wings and no feet."
The Investigative Enrichment component of the School Wide Enrichment Program (SWEP) is available to all students. This opportunity is designed for the student who has the task persistence to complete an individual piece of research on a selected area of interest. This is done under the mentorship of the school's librarian, art teacher, and enrichment specialist. They are guided through a process that includes collection and analysis of data, preparation of a related project, and presentation to an authentic audience. The goal of this component is to enhance the student's curiosity for learning and to foster the cross curricular connections among the various school disciplines by utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.
