"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes
but in seeing with new eyes."

    Marcel Proust

The School Wide Enrichment Program (SWEP) is used at the elementary level to provide a wide range of enrichment opportunities for all students in the district. The SWEP model is grounded in the work of Joseph Renzulli, an educational researcher, and director of the National Research Center for the Gifted and Talented at the University of Connecticut. This program also embraces the theory of "multiple intelligences", as set forth by Howard Gardner. These two philosophies provide the framework to help recognize and nurture the variety of strengths and talents that children possess.
