Hello and welcome! For those who don't know me yet, I am Mrs. Jennifer Noel Schetley, one of the music teachers here at Boyce Middle School. I was given the amazing opportunity to teach at Boyce in 2010; prior to coming to USC I was at the Pine-Richland School District. I am a graduate of Duquesne University, where I received my B. S. in Music Education (Summa Cum Laude). While there, I studied piano as my major instrument but was very active in the choirs, as well. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to sing with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Marvin Hamlish multiple times during my time at Duquesne.
I currently live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh with my husband, daughter, and our rescued Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier "furbaby," Bodie. I love being outside and have been so fortunate to be a part of the Boyce Deer Valley program, attending since I joined the Boyce staff. Currently, I am working on my graduate studies and am always looking for ways to grow as a person, teacher, and musician. I currently serve on the Teacher Advisory Council for the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus and have hosted festivals for both ACDA and PMEA over the years. Music is an important part of my life and I always look forward to sharing my love and knowledge of music with all of my students!
