    The Boyce Musical Theatre programs are open to any interested fifth or sixth grade student at Boyce. No auditions are necessary to be in the show unless students are interested in being considered for a solo speaking and/or singing part. While being in Chorus is not a prerequisite for the Musical Theatre program, it is highly recommended that students participate in Fifth or Sixth Grade Chorus so that they can learn how to demonstrate proper vocal technique to be better prepared for auditions.
     
    Auditions and rehearsals will begin after the December Choral concert. More information will come in December via a SchoolWires message from the Boyce Main Office. As the show dates approach, we will be requiring additional rehearsals after school to help prepare, mostly occurring the three weeks leading up to the show. I look forward to another great year of musical performances!
      
     
    If you do not already have them on file with the district, please consider submitting your volunteer clearances so that you may help out with any rehearsals, concerts, performance, and/or field trip needs the choral/musical theatre programs may have throughout the year. Please refer to the link HERE for the district's guidelines regarding volunteer clearances and submitting them to Central Office.
     
     
     
    Parents: Pick up after all rehearsals occur in front of Boyce's main office doors. For safety reasons, students are not allowed to leave rehearsal early or come late/after Pride Time starts. Parents should line up their cars according to the map below. Please stay in your car in line to speed up the pick up process for all who are involved. Students are NOT allowed to cross over to the parking lot to a parked car unless escorted by an adult. CLICK HERE to learn more about pick up procedures.
