    In the world of Performing Arts... There will be a vocal rehearsal for all guys in musical during period 7 today.

    Spring Pictures will Take place March 19th
    In the world of Performing Arts... There will be a music rehearsal for all girls in the musical today during period 7 in room 118. A rehearsal for mole will take place after school from 3:30 - 4:30pm.

    In other news... Congratulations to USC Panthers Nick Contis, Jack Bavaro, Cohen Marx, Jeffrey Hurst, Isaac Bernstein, Claire Manalo, Caleb Guarino and goalie Ian Vaughn for winning the PIRHL M1 Inline Hockey Championship this weekend in a thrilling 5-4 victory over Penn Trafford. This is the first ever middle school inline hockey championship for USC in the M1 division. Congratulations to Upper St. Clair Inline Hockey Panthers on their Gold metal win!  
      There will be no salad bar available today for lunch.

    This week in Sports (Sporting news, practices, etc) Attention girls softball players: On Wednesday, March 4 the athletic department will be holding a meeting to discuss the upcoming softball season. Please plan to attend during period 7 in the LGI.

     
      Attention track and field athletes: On Wednesday, March 4 the athletic department will be holding a meeting to discuss the upcoming season. Please plan to attend during period 7 in the cafeteria.  
      The 7th and 8th grade girls basketball team for completed their season last night against Clariton. Leading the 8th grade Panthers were Luana Cesar, Lydia Rhodes, Melodie Caliskan, Maggie Brown. The 7th grade Panthers were led by Mia Marino, Claire Rosenberry, Maya Hamades, Maggie Brown, and Sara Groninger. Players are reminded to bring in $5 for the Pizza Party on Thursday during Period 7.

    Student Council News

    This week in Sports (Sporting news, practices, etc) Attention girls softball players: On Wednesday, March 4 the athletic department will be holding a meeting to discuss the upcoming softball season. Please plan to attend during period 7 in the LGI.

             
      Attention track and field athletes: On Wednesday, March 4 the athletic department will be holding a meeting to discuss the upcoming season. Please plan to attend during period 7 in the cafeteria.          
      Yesterday the Fort Couch Girls Basketball teams faced Canon Mac. In the 8th grade game the team was led by Lydia Rhodes, Larissa Hobba, Claire Rosenberry, and Maya Hamades. There was strong defensive effort by Melodi Caliskan, Lucia Miles, Anna Loa, Kiersten Beerel, Averi Elsburg. The 7th grade team was led by Claire Rosenberry, Mia Marino, and Myla Burchill. Today the girls will face Clariton in the last game of the season.

    Please plan to attend this informative meeting on Thursday during period 7, in the LGI.

    Attention all Boy Volleyball Players: On Thursday, February 27 the Athletic Department will be holding an informative meeting for any student interested playing volleyball this Spring.
    Please plan to attend this informative meeting on Thursday during period 7, in the LGI.
       
      Attention girls softball players: On Wednesday, March 4 the athletic department will be holding a meeting to discuss the upcoming softball season. Please plan to attend during period 7 in the LGI.

      Congratulations to the Fort Couch 7th grade girls' basketball team for defeating Ringold 27-21. The win was a team effort with Claire Rosenberry leading the way with 11 points. Other offensive contributors were Mya Hamade, Myla Burchill Maggie Brown, and Ava Mosler. The 8th grade team was led by Taylor Latiolis, Lydia Rhodes, and Canay Sayer. The next home game is tonight at home against Bethel Park.

    This week in Sports (Sporting news, practices, etc) On Friday, the 7th and 8th grade lady hoopers faced Elizabeth Forward Middle School.
    Leading the Panthers were Luana Cesar, Rowan Duffy, Canay Sayar, Lydia Rhodes, Sara Groninger, and Mia Marino. The last home game is today against Ringold.

    7th and 8th grade students---------Interested in learning CPR for free? Please stop in the Fort Couch Main Office to pick up a flyer about this training that will take place at the High School LGI from 4-6 pm on Saturday, February 22nd!
       
      8th Grade Field and outdoor games club will meet in Room 242, Mr. Levine's Room. Again 8th Grade Field and outdoor games club will meet in Room 242, Mr. Levine's Room.    
    This week in Sports (Sporting news, practices, etc) The 7-8th grade girls' basketball team faced Trinity Middle School. The Lady Panthers played tough defense and were led offensively by Lydia Rhodes with 8 points. Anna Loa and Canay Sayer were also offensive leaders. The seventh grade was led by Mya Hamade, Myla Burchill and Maggie Brown.
