    Mixed Group will rehearse during period 7 today in room 118.
    are “RED”y .... to live a drug free life that is.? Monday is Red Day so you if you are “RED”y to live a drug free life...be sure to wear red!! The homeroom that has the highest participation percentage gets Tootsie Pops at the end of the day!
    This Friday (if read Friday substitute "Today") during Panther Time will be our door decorating activity for Red Ribbon. The theme this year is, “Rockin’ a drug- free life”. The homeroom that wins the Door Decorating contest will win Dunkin Donuts for their homeroom!! Whose homeroom will win??
     
    All girls volleyball players who are interested in the annual end-of-the-year pizza party should turn their $5 into their coach or the Main Office. The party will be during Period 7 on Tuesday, October 22nd. There will be drinks, pizza, chips, and candy so be sure to turn in your money as soon as possible!
    Attention Girls Volleyball players who will be trying out for a Club Team this winter. Mr. Gremba will be running two practices to help girls prepare for these tryouts. The practices will be Tuesday and Thursday, October 22 and 24 after school at Boyce. A bus will take you to Boyce after school and you will need to be picked up at 5:00. Any questions, please see Mr. Palmer in the Counseling Office.
    The Ft Couch Fall sport teams are wrapping up this week and now it’s time for the winter sports season to begin. First, the winter season brings us Boys basketball, followed by wrestling in November, and girls basketball at the start of the new year.

    Therefore, if you are a boy and interested being part of our winter basketball program, you must plan to attend an upcoming meeting this Friday with our USC basketball coaches. This informative meeting will take place in the LGI during period 7. Plan to attend!
    What a successful fall sports season we have enjoyed here at Ft Couch, but now it won't be long before we move into the winter sports season. First, the winter season brings us Boys basketball, followed by wrestling in November, and girls basketball at the start of the new year.

      Attention Team 3! A reminder that your two final days to bring in your donations for the daycare project are Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Remember that the 6 top homerooms will win a field trip with Mr. Palmer.

      Any student who has signed up for the auxiliary potion of Fort of The Field, you will have a practice on Wednesday, October 2nd from 2:50-4:30pm in the Fort Couch Cafeteria. Please remember to wear or bring comfortable sneakers and clothes. Poms and flags will be provided. Those who will be twirling, must own their own baton. Thank you.  
      As a reminder tomorrow is open house and also an early release day for all students. All students will be dismissed at 1:15.  
    Library News The Library will be closed during period 7

    "Student Council members are reminded that the next Student Council meeting is this coming Wednesday, October 2nd at 8am in Room 133. Your attendance is mandatory; please talk to Miss Calano if you have any questions. For those Student Council Members running for president, seventh graders need to report Tuesday, October 1st at 8am in Room 133, and eighth graders need to report Wednesday, October 2nd during Panther Time in Room 133."

      Today for 8th grade clubs mr. levine's field and outdoor games club will meet at the pavilion on the field. Bring you lunch with you as you will be dismissed directly from the field to lunch.

    This week in Sports (Sporting news, practices, etc) The boys and girls cross country team remained perfect on the season with a win against Trinity yesterday afternoon. The girls team was lead by Lydia Rhodes who was supported by Meredith Rhodes, Kate Falce, Hannah Bemm and Gabreille Fishell. The boys team was lead by Sawyer Weinman who was followed by Jacob Higgs, Adam McFeeley, Bryce Potter and Stephan Engelmann
