    Tax Office

Jordan Tax Service (JTS) collects and administers all taxes for both the Township of Upper St. Clair and the Upper St. Clair School District.

In addition to its main offices in McMurray and Bethel Park, JTS offers a local Tax Office within USC Township's municipal building, located at 1820 McLaughlin Run Road.

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. except during the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day) when the hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Township Tax Office is closed for lunch every day from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. An outside payment depository box is available to the left of the main building entrance where any tax or sewage payment may be dropped off at any time.

JTS accepts credit card and eCheck payments through its website - www.jordantax.com. Credit card payments are not accepted at the Township Tax Office.

    Property Taxes

School real estate taxes adhere to the following schedule:

    • Bills mailed:  July 1
    • Deadline to receive a 2% discount:  Aug. 31
    • Deadline to pay face value:  Oct. 31
    • 10% late payment penalty assessed:  after Oct. 31

    Property Assessments

Upper St. Clair Township properties are assessed by the Allegheny County Department of Real Estate, which assigns a Full Market Value. To access the assessed value of any property in Allegheny County, visit the Allegheny County Real Estate Portal and search by address or parcel number.

To calculate the property tax for any property, multiply the home's Total Market Value by the millage rate and divide the result by 1,000.

    Delinquent Real Estate Tax Collection
