B.A. in German and Spanish Washington & Jefferson College M.A. in Germanic Studies University of Texas at Austin
Mr. Reis
It has been a pleasure and an honor to teach the students of Upper St. Clair High School since 2021. This year, I will be teaching German 3, MYP German 3, IB German 4, and IB German 5.
I hold a dual B.A. in German and Spanish from Washington & Jefferson College and an M.A. in Germanic Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, where I studied second language acquisition, historical linguistics, musicology, and literature. I have been fortunate enough to present my research throughout the United States and Europe. I am also an alumnus of a Fulbright-Commission-sponsored program, through which I lived, researched, and taught in Austria.

I also currently serve as the Percussion Coordinator for the Upper St. Clair High School "Panther" Marching Band. In my musical career, I have played with ensembles on three different continents and worked with composers, conductors, and musicians from all over the world. I love getting to help students develop their musical talents and seeing the doors it opens for them in life.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading (I'm a huge sci-fi nerd), traveling, playing music, playing hockey, and hanging out with my dog, Texas.
