The mission of the Upper St Clair School District school counseling program is to maximize student potential, nurturing them as they become responsible, self-sufficient learners and productive citizens. The USCHS counseling program will advocate for all students to have access to the resources and support necessary to be successful academically and socially; it will prepare them to be successful at every grade level, beyond high school, and in the world of work by addressing students’ academic, career, and social-emotional needs.

AP EXAM REGISTRATION
AP Exam registration is open. Click here to register. The deadline to register without late fees is October 31st. Late registration ends November 8, 2023. Students will not be able to register for an AP Exam after November 8th.
PHEAA VIRTUAL FINANCIAL AID NIGHT - Wednesday, September 27th
PHEAA will host a virtual Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30pm. Amy Sawdey, PHEAA's Higher Education Access Partner for Allegheny County, will present information on the financial aid application process, what types of aid are available for students, and strategies to start thinking about affordability before getting ready to apply for post-secondary school admission. Time will be built into the presentation to allow you to ask any questions you may have regarding the financial aid process. Click

SOUTH HILLS COLLEGE & CAREER FAIR - Tuesday, October 3rd
This annual fair will be hosted at Bethel Park High School from 6:00-8:30PM. Over 100 vendors will be in attendance! Students will have the opportunity to learn about many different types of colleges and post-secondary programs, including 2- and 4-year schools, trade schools, and the military. Students should register here to receive a barcode. This allows students to easily share their information with the colleges they are interested in.
PSAT/NMSQT - JUNIORS - Wednesday, October 11th
All juniors will sit for the exam at no cost to families. Registration is NOT required. As a junior, the PSAT/NMSQT offers you the opportunity to qualify for scholarships that can help pay for college. Students should arrive at the normal start time. Late starts are not approved on this day.
ASVAB/PSAT EXAM - SOPHOMORES - Wednesday, October 11th
All sophomores will sit for the either the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Exam or the PSAT Exam. Students should arrive at the normal start time. Late starts are not approved on this day.
