Homecoming Court announced
Upper St. Clair High School’s Homecoming weekend is set for this Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019. The weekend kicks off with Friday night football as the Panthers take on the Fox Chapel Area High School foxes. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m.
Football tickets can be purchased online – $4 for students and $6 for adults. Fans who buy tickets online will enter the gates through the ticket booth at the top of the stadium. Click here to purchase football tickets.
The 2019 Homecoming Court will be introduced and the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime. Candidates for Queen include seniors: Sarah Berlin, Karlie Daschbach, Grace Eberle, Catherine O'Connor and Muirinn Rooney. Senior boys vying for King include Kyle Chen, Kevin Finn, Aidan Gibson, Aidan Gordley and Basir Khan.
This year’s theme is Hoedown Homecoming with the following spirit days throughout the week at the high school:- Monday: Pajama/lounge wear day
- Tuesday: Twin Day
- Wednesday: Dress like your legal guardian day
- Thursday: Senior Dress up / Underclassmen - socks and sandals day
- Friday: Wild West day for Hoedown Homecoming!
A school-wide pep rally is set for Friday, Sept. 27 in the high school gymnasium. The homecoming court will be honored and the marching band, cheerleaders and hip-hop team will perform.
Immediately following Friday’s football game, USCHS alumni are invited to attend the second annual "Homecoming 5th Quarter" event at St. Clair Country Club. This event is an opportunity for alumni from all classes to come together, catch up and continue a new USC tradition. Tickets are $20 per person and includes a ticket to the football game and buffet. The annual Homecoming Dance, sponsored by student council, is from 7:30-10 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 28 in the Upper St. Clair High School gymnasium. Tickets will be on sale in the nutrition center all week during lunch mods. The cost is $10 per person pre-sale or $20 online after 2:20 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
