    Argentina

    Students experience Argentina

Argentina experience Eighteen Upper St. Clair High School Spanish students and two of their high school teachers recently completed a nine-day cultural immersion trip to Argentina.

During the trip, students were able to try out their Spanish while exploring Buenos Aires as well as the Iguazú Falls, which have been declared as one of the “New Seven Natural Wonders of the World” with over 275 waterfalls.

Students learned how to tango during a dance lesson in the country that invented the tango. Students also enjoyed horseback riding, an Argentinean steak BBQ and dancing during a traditional “Fiesta Gaucha.”

“Everyone really enjoyed the eye-opening experience and saw lots of personal growth during the trip,” Johanna Rennhoff, world language teacher, said.
