    Eighth grader selected to Pa. wrestling team

    Noah Stein A Fort Couch Middle School student has been selected to compete for Team Pennsylvania at the U16 National Duals. Eighth grader Noah Stein will wrestle in the 88-pound weight class in the national tournament June 11-15, 2019, in Spokane, Wash.

    “This is one of the most prestigious national events for this age group,” Joseph Stabilito, chairman of the Pennsylvania USA Wrestling, said. “It is a rare opportunity to represent your state at the highest level of national competition.”

    Noah is one of only two Pennsylvania wrestlers selected to compete in his weight class. In total, Team Pennsylvania is comprised of 27 wrestlers from 17 weight classes.

    Team Pennsylvania will be defending its 2018 Freestyle National Championship and hopes to recapture the Greco-Roman title as well.
