    USC crowns Homecoming King & Queen

    Matt McCormick and Rachel Tudi Congratulations to Upper St. Clair High School seniors Matt McCormick and Rachel Tudi who were crowned Homecoming King and Queen during halftime on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018.

    Other members of the Homecoming Court include: Allison DelliCarri, Julia Geisler, Stephanie Grunwald and Sarah Slagle as well as Jack Fitzpatrick, Luke Geisler, Sean Martin and Chris Pantelis.

    Also honored Friday evening were the 2018 inductees to the Upper St. Clair Halls of Fame. Congratulations to the following 10 honorees: 

    • Academic Hall of Fame: John M. Bornyas, retired administrator; Melissa Lentz, Class of 2000; Karen Pillar, Class of 1988; Jean Kogut Raazi, Class of 1990; Shailesh Rao, Class of 1989; and Glenn C. Rice, Class of 1974
    • Arts Hall of Fame: Susan Lynn Castriota, Class of 1975; and Chuck Rea, Class of 1995 
    • Athletic Hall of Fame: Jerry Berteotti, Class of 1989; and Austin Wilding, Class of 2012

    The Panthers defeated the Moon Area Tigers 24-16 in front of a packed home crowd. This Friday, Oct. 19, Upper St. Clair hosts Chartiers Valley in its final regular season game. This is Senior Recognition Night. Kick-off is 7:30 p.m.
