Join Pitt Society of Women Engineers as they host the 6th Annual Women in STEM Conference! The conference's goal is to promote and inspire women of all ages to pursue STEM careers. The event is geared towards women pursuing careers in STEM including undergraduate, graduate, and high school students as well as professionals. Allies & advocates for women in STEM are also encouraged to attend.
Our keynote speakers are Dr. Melissa Bilec from Pitt SSOE "How to Network Effectively in the Professional Settings" & Lauren Harrington from Rockwell Automation "Sorry Not Sorry: A workshop for active bystanders and ways to diffuse situations." We will have 3 breakout sessions within 4 tracks ("Get Real," "Blaze Your Trail," "Forge the Future," & "Stand Up + Speak Out").
