We will make sure your child has a special day on his or her birthday! We will sing and our birthday child will sit in a special seat for the day and receive a crown and sticker. We also invite you to come into the classroom to read one of your child's favorite stories. If you are unable to come in, you can invite another family member or close friend. You can also send the book in and I would be happy to read it to the class.

It is district policy that we celebrate birthdays without food. You are welcome, but not required, to send in a non-editable treat to share with the class. This might be a pencil, sticker, or some other small item. 

I will send forms home as we near your child's birthday. We will celebrate summer birthdays in May and June.
