• Scholarships

    Many local, regional, and national scholarships are available online. To view a scholarship list composed by the counseling department, login to Naviance; click on the "Colleges" tab; click on the "Scholarships and Money" link in the drop-down box; click on "Scholarship List."  For a Naviance Scholarship reference guide, click here.

    HERE ARE SOME OF THE LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: 

    • Pride of the Panthers - For seniors planning to enroll in a four-year college who have an unweighted GPA of 3.25 and have participated in at least 2 sports and have a variety of activities. Deadline: 5/1. Click here for application.
    • Teresa Fox Memorial Scholarships - Two $250 scholarships will be awarded.  Students must submit a short essay (200-500 words) or a video (2-5 minutes) describing how they have grown as a person in overcoming their learning challenges (for the first one) or describing why they wish to pursue certification as a special education teacher (for the second scholarship).  The purpose of this essay or video is to help the scholarship committee gauge the enthusiasm each applicant has for their future schooling.     • T.A. Ward Memorial Trade Scholarship - Applicant must be planning on continuing their education in the construction industry through a trade school or similar institution. Deadline: 5/5.  Click here for application.
    • Roy Werner Scholarship - Awarded based on service to the community, whether church, school or other. Deadline: 5/5.  Click here  for application.
