USC crowns Homecoming
King & Queen
Congratulations to Upper St. Clair High School seniors Brendan Pacalo and Imogen Snowdon who were crowned Homecoming King and Queen during halftime on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017.
Other members of the Homecoming Court include: Allison Epler, Sophie Kennedy, Catherine Sandford and Mary Wilding as well as Jonathan Barsotti, Jack Gordley, Tom Kyle and Angelo Rhad.
The Panthers defeated the Hampton Talbots 41-21 in front of a packed home crowd. Next Friday, Upper St. Clair hosts Woodland Hills in its final regular season game. Kick-off is 7:30 p.m.

Homecoming set for Oct. 20-21
Upper St. Clair High School’s Homecoming weekend is set for this Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017. The weekend kicks off with Friday night football as the Panthers take on the Hampton Talbots. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m.
The 2017 Homecoming Court will be introduced and the Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen will be crowned during halftime. Candidates for Queen include seniors: Allison Epler, Sophie Kennedy, Catherine Sandford, Imogen Snowdon and Mary Wilding. Senior boys vying for King includ Jonathan Barsotti, Jack Gordley, Tom Kyle, Brendan Pacalo and Angelo Rhad.
This year is a Spooky Homecoming with Halloween themes daily throughout the week at the high school. Monday: Gouldish Groutfit Day (wear gray)- Tuesday: Tie-DIE Day
- Wednesday: Wickedly White Wardrobe Day
- Thursday: Vampire Valet for a Day
- Friday: Spooky Spirit Day (wear USC clothing)
The annual Homecoming Dance, sponsored by student council, is from 7:30-10 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Upper St. Clair High School gymnasium. Tickets are on sale in the nutrition center beginning Monday, Oct. 16. The cost is $10 per person pre-sale or $20 online after Friday’s lunch mod or at the door.
