Privacy & Online Resources
The Upper St. Clair School District is committed to the safety and security of its students, including their online activities and interactions. Students regularly receive age and developmentally appropriate instruction regarding responsible online behavior including interacting via social networks and in chat rooms, cyber-bullying and protecting against the disclosure of personal information.
There are a number of excellent online educational resources that benefit students, many of which provide unique learning experiences. Notably, interactive online tools such as blogs, wikis, and other websites provide some of the most compelling educational tools for today’s students. While allowing access to these interactive online educational resources, we must also safeguard students’ privacy and personal information.
