    The Upper St. Clair School District is issuing the attached (see below) Request for Proposal for the installation of CAT6A cabling in order to install access points in its three elementary school buildings.  All together there are 282 CAT6A cabling drops to be installed and 141 access points to be mounted and installed.  This procurement does NOT include the purchase of the access points, which is being done as a separate procurement through the PEPPM master contract.  This is an E-rate procurement and an accompany FCC Form 470 was posted today, a copy of which is below.

    The District anticipates that Vendors will need to participate in a site walkthrough of the schools to measure the amount of cabling needed for the project and to assess the existing building infrastructure and to submit an accurate price proposal. To that end, a site walkthrough will be held on February 3, 2017 beginning at 3:15 PM at Baker Elementary and will include the Baker and Streams schools. The walkthrough for the Eisenhower School will be held on February 6, 2017 at 3:15 PM. All interested Vendors who plan to attend the walkthroughs are required to notify Ray Berrott by 4 p.m.on February 1, 2017, via email to rberrott@uscsd.k12.pa.usInterested bidders are required to attend in order to be qualified to submit a Proposal.

    Please note the following instructions regarding communications relating to this procurement:

    Prospective Vendors must direct and confine all inquiries and communications concerning this RFP to the Issuing Officer and correspondence is required to be via e-mail.  Although there is no due date for questions, the District encourages prospective Vendors to submit any questions they may have as soon as possible.  Questions are required to include “E-rate Cabling & Wireless Access Point Installation RFP” in the subject line to ensure that the issuing officer identifies the email as relating to this procurement.
