A little bit about me.... 

My name is Miranda Gray. I have had the pleasure of teaching Family and Consumer Science (FACS) for the last four years, currently teaching Foods Classes and Child Care at Upper Saint Clair High School. I offer a wide variety of courses, including Intro to Culinary I, Intro to Culinary Self-Paced, Intro to Culinary II, Global Foods, Personal Nutrition, and Practical Living. 

I completed my undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education in Spring of 2014. Upon graduation, I began teaching Family and Consumer science at Mifflinburg Area High School, where I taught for three and a half years. During my time at Mifflinburg, I started an FCCLA club, developed my own self-paced cooking courses, achieved my masters in Wellness Coaching, went through a designated teacher teachership program, and read extensively on customizing learning.

 As a teacher at Upper Saint Clair, I feel it is my obligation (and passion) to customize learning to ensure that every student I teach leaves my classes practicing and understanding how to be independent, successful adults.
