Community members are invited to provide comment and feedback on the 2021-22 proposed school calendar through Wednesday, Jan. 20. Final calendar approval is anticipated at the Monday, Jan. 25 school board meeting.
The PTC will host an upcoming Open Mic at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1. The virtual event will feature a presentation on the topic, Supporting a Healthy School Environment. Register by Wednesday, Jan. 27.
USCSD is now accepting applications for the spring cohort of its Extended Teacher Certification (ETC) Program for non-educators who are interested in serving as substitute teachers.
USCSD will be utilizing Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs), which may be used in place of a school day that would otherwise be canceled because of inclement weather or another emergency situation that is NOT related to the pandemic/health and safety closures.
Before a student boards the school bus or is dropped off at school, the parent/caregiver at home must conduct a daily health check, which will evaluate the student for any symptoms of or exposure to COVID-19.
Now accepting to-go meal orders for the week of Jan. 25. Curbside meal pick-up is available 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays or 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
