USC School District’s Partners in Education (PIE) will host its next program at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23 in the Boyce Middle School LGI room. The evening session will focus on the PA Career Readiness Indicator, PA Career Education & Work Standards, and student portfolios.
Learn more about the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma programs on Thursday, Jan. 24. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Upper St. Clair High School, rooms 148/149.
USC will host two parent information sessions regarding the Safe2Say Something anonymous reporting system that launched on Jan. 14, 2019. Programs will be offered at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Wednesday, Feb. 13 in the Boyce theater.
The program, intended for families with students in grades 8-11, will feature admissions representatives from Case Western Reserve, Clemson University, Ohio and Purdue universities and the University of Maryland.
Kindergarten registration for incoming Upper St. Clair kindergarten students and their families will be held mid-March and early-April at each of the district’s three elementary schools. Online appointment scheduling will begin in February.
The winningest football coach in WPIAL history is retiring after nearly five decades of coaching high school football. Coach Jim Render submitted his letter of resignation and officially announces his retirement as head coach of the Upper St. Clair varsity football team.
